A leading independent tooling supplier in Macomb is seeking a Materials Planner to support inventory, materials, and day-to-day production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily inventory, materials, and production-related activities
• Review and maintain inventory and production data within the ERP system
• Assist with inventory accuracy, discrepancy resolution, and material tracking
• Support production scheduling and material flow activities
• Assist with reporting, documentation, production reporting support, and work instructions
• Work cross functionally with operations, production, inventory, and manufacturing teams
• Help identify and resolve inventory or materials-related issues impacting production
• Maintain organized and accurate records within the ERP system

Qualifications:

• Experience in inventory control and materials management
• ERP system experience required
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt and support multiple operational areas as needed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with regular production floor interaction
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Experience with Excel and data tracking preferred
• Manufacturing or stamping experience is helpful but not required

Additional Details:

• Day shift schedule: 7:00am–4:00pm
• $30-$34 per hour based on experience and qualifications
• Contract opportunity with potential for extension or long-term consideration
