Position Overview

Our client, a well-established distribution company in the Oakville area, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis. This position offers a strong opportunity to transition into a permanent role, depending on business needs and individual performance.

 

What We Offer

21.00/hr.+ depending on experience

Full-time, onsite role, Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm

Key Responsibilities

Plan and schedule shipments using internal systems

Prepare shipping documents and invoices

Track shipments and provide updates

Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries

Communicate with drivers and carriers

Verify shipment accuracy and resolve issues

Manage receiving and processing of goods

Handle export documentation and compliance

Maintain records, reports, and databases

Perform general logistics and administrative tasks

 

Qualifications

1-3 years of working experience in a shipping or warehouse clerical role

Strong MS Office and WHM/ERP skills (AS 400, BOSS)

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable with push, pull and lifting up to 25lbs

Mathematical skills
