Warehouse Housekeeper

 

Location: Shawnee, KS
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (training 6AM-2:30PM)
Pay: $18.50 per hour

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to support the cleanliness and upkeep of a large warehouse and distribution facility. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary work areas throughout the facility while assisting with general housekeeping and material handling duties.

Requirements:

• Reach Truck experience REQUIRED
• Tugger/Walkie Rider experience REQUIRED
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Commitment to workplace cleanliness and safety

Job Duties:

Daily Responsibilities:

• Spray and disinfect high-traffic areas and frequently touched surfaces throughout the facility

As Needed:

• Empty dumpsters
• Bale cardboard
• Empty plastic stretch film containers
• Bale plastic stretch film
• Restock napkins and utensils in three break rooms
• Organize and put away facility supplies

Weekly Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all ice and water dispensers (Wednesdays)
• Sweep all three main battery charging areas (Thursdays)
• Clean smoking areas, including trash receptacles, ashtrays, and cigarette disposal containers (Fridays)
• Sweep and clean between all dock doors (Fridays)

Twice Monthly (15th & 30th):

• Dust and clean facility safety rails

Monthly Responsibilities:

• Clean refrigerators in all three break rooms
• Sweep behind dock offices and south office areas
• Sweep behind designated smoking areas
• Replace disposable urinal floor mats
• Replace toilet tank canisters
• Replace urinal screens/blocks
• Replace restroom air fresheners

This is a physically active position requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility environment.
