Kitchen Line Cook

Our client, a busy restaurant in Madison, CT, is seeking multiple experienced Line Cooks to join their team!

Schedule: Full Time – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner shifts available
Pay Rate: $22.75–$23.75/hour

Responsibilities of the Line Cook:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Work all kitchen stations as needed during service (roundsman experience preferred)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation
• Ensure food is prepared efficiently and in a timely manner
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Assist with kitchen prep work and daily closing duties
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2+ years of line cook or relevant kitchen experience preferred
• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment
• Ability to work all stations as a roundsman
• Banquet experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation, and cooking techniques
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
