EHS Specialist

Our client is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of top beverage brands, and is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join their team at their Watertown facility. This is a direct hire opportunity for a safety-focused professional who is passionate about compliance, training, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: Up to $90,000 annually, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:30am–2:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee a compliant Process Safety Management (PSM) program
• Monitor and uphold all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance standards
• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams in accordance with regulations
• Conduct detailed incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees
• Stay current on all applicable regulations including DOT, OSHA, EPA, and related compliance requirements

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of EHS or safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field preferred
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations, hazardous materials handling, and emergency preparedness
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, organization, and training skills
