Shipping Clerk

Salary: $19.00 per hour

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Shipping Clerk position in Northeast Portland.

This is a great long term position!

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Duration: Long term, temp to hire position!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare shipments for postal/commercial conveyance.
• Determines economical/efficient shipping method.
• Pack and palletize items.
• Prepare pill of lading.
• Check work orders, trace lost shipments, and proof of delivery documents.
• Maintain equipment.
• Inventory management, physical counts, and process release.
• Perform clerical duties, data entry, sort and organize products.

Requirements:

• Recent work history in shipping and receiving.
• High attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Comfortable with computers, scanners, and bill of ladings.
