Inventory Specialist

Located in Rosedale, MD

Salary: $21-$25

A leading production facility in the Rosedale area is looking for an Inventory Specialist. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels to ensure efficient operations and minimize discrepancies. This role involves tracking inventory, reconciling stock counts, organizing storage areas, and coordinating with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

 

Pay- $21-$25Hr

 

Responsibilities:

   -Collaborate internally with operations, inventory control and production teams to ensure that the production schedule and inventory management expectations are met

-Prepare inventory reports and presentations

-Create and execute stock requests based upon bills of material in the  inventory management system

-High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college is preferred

 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile variances.
• Receive, label, and store incoming materials and products appropriately.
• Track and document inventory movement between departments and facilities.
• Prepare inventory reports and analyze data to identify trends, shortages, or overstock issues.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations to forecast inventory needs.
• Maintain compliance with safety and storage regulations.
• Support audits and assist with continuous improvement of inventory processes.
• Report discrepancies or damaged goods to management promptly.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics.
