Custodian - 1st Shift

Located in Bloomington, IN

Salary: $15.00 / hr

A local client is seeking dependable Custodians to join their facility services team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment throughout the facility.

Job Summary

• Perform general cleaning of facility spaces and common areas
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the building
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and entry areas
• Sweep carpets and maintain floor cleanliness in high-traffic areas
• Pick up and dispose of outside trash and debris
• Follow company cleaning procedures and quality standards
• Complete additional cleaning tasks as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in work quality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of sanitation and cleaning chemicals helpful

Position Type: Evaluation

Pay: $15.00/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
