🎯 Position Overview
A growing wood products manufacturer in Bend is seeking motivated individuals for immediate Mill Operator openings. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in manufacturing, wood products production, millwork, and industrial operations with on-the-job training and strong advancement opportunities.
No previous experience is required. We are looking for dependable individuals who are eager to learn, work safely, and grow their skills in a production environment.
🛠 Responsibilities
• Feed, tail, and stack wood products safely and efficiently throughout the production process
• Grade lumber and wood products based on end-use specifications and quality standards
• Maintain pace in a fast-moving production and manufacturing environment
• Use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools accurately
• Learn and interpret machining specifications and production requirements
• Work alongside experienced personnel to develop new skills and industry knowledge
• Inspect products and monitor quality throughout the manufacturing process
• Meet daily production goals and performance expectations
• Maintain clean, organized, and operational work areas, equipment, and machinery
• Follow all company safety procedures, plant policies, and OSHA guidelines
• Report unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, or hazards promptly
• Perform additional production and general labor duties as assigned

🎓 Preferred Qualifications
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Previous production experience
• Previous lumber, millwork, or wood products experience
• Experience using measuring tools and reading specifications
• General labor or industrial work experience
No experience is required. On-the-job training is provided.
