Salary: $12.80 - $13.50 per hour

Pay: $12.80–$13.50/hour 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Overtime & Saturdays may be required based on workload

 

Express Employment Professionals is hiring dependable and detail-oriented associates for two separate positions which are General Assemblers as well as Industrial Sewing Operators for one local manufacturing facility in McAllen, TX. These positions involve assembling products, operating industrial sewing machines, using hand tools, and assisting with production and maintenance tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components according to work instructions or blueprints
• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew heavy-duty materials and fabric products (for sewers only)
• Perform basic machine maintenance such as threading, needle changes, and equipment cleaning (for sewers only)
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials for production (for sewers only)
• Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with general production, assembly, and other warehouse tasks as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and production standards

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or industrial sewing experience preferred
• Minimum 6 months of industrial sewing machine experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of materials regularly
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Basic math and computer skills preferred
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Dependable, punctual, and flexible with schedule and overtime
