Project Manager

 

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial and residential construction projects, including renovations, tenant improvements, and new construction. This role is responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations are met.

This position requires a hands-on leader who can effectively coordinate field operations, subcontractors, and project stakeholders while maintaining strong communication and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial and residential construction projects from planning through completion
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
  • Manage scopes of work, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Lead renovation projects and new construction builds, including work in active or occupied environments
  • Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and quality inspections
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance
  • Ensure adherence to local building codes, permitting requirements, and OSHA safety standards
  • Identify risks and proactively resolve issues to minimize delays and cost overruns
  • Provide clear project updates and documentation to internal teams and clients

Schedule & Pay:

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00AM – 5:00PM
  • Pay: $55,000 - $80,000

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial and/or residential construction
  • Experience managing renovation and new construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
  • Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
