Express Employment Professionals is hiring for an Optometric Technician in Effingham, IL. The technician position is a full-time, long-term opportunity with pay from $16/hour. 

 

Receptionist Job Requirements

 

• Advise and assist in selecting eye wear based on prescription needs
• Measure, fit, adjust and repair eye wear
• Utilize practice management software to enter and interpret prescription data
• Cross-train to handle reception, check-in, check-out, and appointments
• Ability to follow guidelines for medical / vision insurance coverages for services 
• Maintain a presentable and orderly area.
• Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
• Maintain daily operations by following policies and procedures.

• Possess the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
