Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Overview

We are hiring a detail-oriented Assembly Operator I to support cable assembly and manufacturing operations in a clean, climate-controlled environment. This role involves assembling, inspecting, and testing coaxial cable assemblies and connectors while maintaining high quality and precision standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow assembly instructions, blueprints, drawings, and work orders

• Assemble small components to MIL-spec and industry quality standards

• Operate equipment including crimping, stripping, coiling, and testing machines

• Perform hand assembly using tools such as presses, heat guns, and hand tools

• Use measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify specifications

• Conduct basic testing using continuity testers, network analyzers, and related equipment

• Record production data, measurements, and quality checks accurately

• Track labor and production activity using internal systems

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Communicate equipment or quality concerns to supervisors

• Work closely with team members and engineering staff on production processes

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum 3 years of assembly and/or soldering experience

• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately

• Basic computer skills for data entry and time tracking

• Ability to distinguish colors for quality inspection purposes

Skills & Abilities

• Strong hand dexterity for small-part assembly work

• Understanding of measurements, tolerances, and quality standards

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility

• Frequent standing, sitting, and repetitive hand movements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move materials as needed

• Required use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures
