Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced and people-focused Human Resources Manager for a local company in Piedmont, MO.

In this role, you will help shape a positive workplace culture while driving initiatives that support employee engagement, development, and organizational success.

You will collaborate closely with company leadership and employees to ensure HR practices align with business goals and create an exceptional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee integration.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that support company objectives and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws.
  • Manage employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and timely resolution.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs to support growth and performance improvement.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback, coaching, and goal setting.
  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs while ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and team-building efforts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership regarding organizational development, workforce planning, and HR strategy.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and analytics to support informed business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office programs.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is preferred but not required.
