Lab Technician

Located in Clarksville, TN

Salary: $17 / Hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking experienced candidates for a Lab Technician position with a local Ceramic Tile Manufacturer. Candidates must have Graphic Print experience. This position will pay $17.00 per hour, and the hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00AM - 4:00PM. May have to work an occasional Saturday from 8AM-12PM.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Lab Manager performing laboratory testing and management
• Lab testing will include raw material, kilns, and final product
• Perform testing on production processes and record accurate test results
• Perform maintenance and calibrations on laboratory equipment
• Follow all safety rules and procedures of the Company
• Good attitude, performance and attendance is necessary

Qualifications:

• Able to lift at least 25 lbs.
• College Degree is preferred
• Has previous Graphic Print Experience as well as Photoshop Experience
• Must be flexible to work Saturdays
• Able to understand Technical Manuals
• Has working knowledge of the Metric System
• Ability to bend, squat, stretch, twist, or reach with the body, arms, and/or legs
• Able to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE- Steel toed work boots
