Express Employment Professionals is hiring Material Handlers in the St. Louis Downtown area. This is a staffing placement — one application puts you in front of 250+ local companies we are actively staffing right now. If this role is not the right fit, we will find one that is.

What You'll Be Doing

• Moving, organizing, and transporting materials throughout the facility by hand, pallet jack, or forklift
• Loading and unloading trucks, containers, and storage areas
• Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
• Maintaining accurate inventory counts and reporting discrepancies
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and OSHA compliant
• Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
• Basic math and reading comprehension for documentation and labeling
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required — we have opportunities for both
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and push/pull for the duration of your shift
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Background check and drug screen may be required depending on client
