Fabricator / TIG Welder

Can you lay down clean aluminum TIG welds and turn blueprints into something built to last? 

A growing custom shop is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious custom TIG Welder / Fabricator to help rebuild, retrofit, and upfit specialized emergency vehicles.  If you enjoy custom fabrication work where every project is different, this is the kind of role that keeps things interesting.    

Schedule:  Monday - Thursday 6AM - 4:30PM

Pay: $20++/hour  ( depending on the experience you bring)

Job Highlights:

• Perform high-quality TIG welding on Aluminum materials
• Fabricate and install custom components from schematics / blueprints 
• Troubleshoot fit-up and fabrication challenges during custom builds
• Work in a non- air controlled manufacturing environment
• Work closely with a team focused on quality and craftsmanship

 

What we are looking for in a fabricator:

• Strong TIG welding experience on aluminum - quality matters
• Analyze blueprints, engineering drawing and custom build sheets to execute precise dimensional layouts.
• Schematic Reading
• Solid  Measuring and Math skills
• Someone who enjoys problem solving and custom fabrication work
• Ability to work independently and take critiques when needed
