Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a company that is supporting a large-scale industrial demolition project expected to continue through July 2027. This project involves the teardown of a plant facility will have more than 200 contractors and employees on-site daily. As a Security/Scale Operator, you will support site access control and logistics coordination for this long-term project.

This position will begin primarily in a gate/security operations capacity, monitoring and checking in all personnel, vendors, and vehicles entering and exiting the facility while maintaining accurate records and ensuring site procedures are followed. As the project progresses, responsibilities will expand to include operating the truck scale system and assisting with transportation documentation and load verification.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access at the facility gate
• Check personnel, contractors, and vehicles in and out of the site
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Communicate professionally with drivers, vendors, and site personnel
• Operate truck scale systems as project needs expand
• Verify load information and assist with bills of lading/shipping paperwork
• Follow all safety procedures and site protocols
• Support overall site logistics and operations as needed

Schedule and Pay:

• Mon-Fri 6:30am-4:30pm
  • Hours may change throughout different phases of the project
• $21.00/hr

Requirements:

• Strong attendance and reliability
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and stay attentive throughout the shift
• Experience with shipping paperwork or scale operations is a plus
• Drug test
• Background check
