Position Details:

Location: Wilsonville, OR

Pay Rate: $19.00 plus $1.25 per hour = $20.25 per hour

Schedule: 11pm - 7:30am Sunday to Thursday 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

- Execute tooling setups, including installing new tools and supporting NPD projects.

- Prepare machines for secondary operations activities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring continuous product quality and process efficiency.

 

Key Functions:

- Lead NPD tool and machine setups, troubleshooting, and adjustments.

- Setup, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, including automation support.

- Support and perform maintenance system activities.

- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on system repairs.

- Data collection and documentation for engineering tests and procedures.

- Facilitate positive interactions and technical training for employees.

- Manage and purchase supplies for the secondary operations department.

- Undertake additional duties as required.

 Qualifications:

- 5+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with a high school diploma or GED. Some college or special mechanics training is advantageous.

- Proven technical skills, including troubleshooting and using measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.

- Experience with die installation, adjustments, and part straightening/coining.

- Entry-level engineering assistant capabilities, assisting Product Development Engineers.

- High mechanical aptitude and a general understanding of equipment operations.

- Effective communication skills, proficient in math, and capable of reading and interpreting technical documents.

- Organizational skills and familiarity with computer applications, including email.

 

Physical and Work Environment:

- The role involves regular standing, sitting, manual dexterity tasks, and lifting at least 25lbs.

- Requires wearing personal protective equipment in a manufacturing setting with exposure to temperature extremes, moving parts, and potential chemical hazards.

- A drug/alcohol-free workplace is enforced through mandatory pre-employment drug testing.

- ITAR compliance necessitates U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder status.
