Manufacturing Technician (2nd Ops) - DAY

Located in Wilsonville, OR

Salary: $20hr

A client of ours in Wilsonville is looking to add a Technician to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanic/technician experience. You will be doing basic math with a high level of mechanical aptitude. If you are a reliable and motivated individual, then this is the position for you!

This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity!

Duties: 

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment (including replacing cutting tools, adjusting machine settings and supporting automation) as needed.
• Perform equipment setups as directed.
• Support the maintenance systems and perform activities as needed.
• Work with maintenance and process engineering to troubleshoot and repair system failures.
• Collect and enter data as needed to support procedures and engineering tests.
• Interact with employees in a positive manner.
• Train employees on using technical equipment (Automation, CNC and other machines).
• Perform other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs): 

• HS Diploma or GED
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred. 
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Good communication and English skills (both verbal and written).
• General understanding of how the equipment works.
• Ability to handle tedious tasks.
• Ability to work with others and alone.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs occasionally 
• Well organized with basic to moderate knowledge of computers and PLCs.
• Some college or special training in mechanics is preferred.
• High level of mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret documents (written in English) such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Computer application users including email

Pay: $20.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 PM
