Express Employment is looking for an experienced MIG Welder to work with a family-owned manufacturing company that makes high-heat refractory products and custom fabricated steel components used in steel mills, foundries, and aluminum plants.

Responsibilities:

• Weld steel components and custom fabricated assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and work orders
• Fabricate and repair industrial equipment including furnace components, ladle bottoms, covers, and lances
• Use hand tools, grinders, torches, and other fabrication equipment
• Assist with fitting, layout, and assembly of metal parts
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and structural integrity

Schedule and Pay:

• Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm
  • Possible overtime on weekends as needed
• $24.00/hr

Requirements:

• Weld test will be performed day of interview: vertical, flat, single pass, triple pass, operating settling torch, cutting through a 1 inch plate
• Must be able to work in a hot environment during the summer
• Preferred experience: Grinding wheels, welding torches, steel band saws, plasma table, fork truck, overhead crane
• Background check
• Drug test
