Field Technician – Full-Time
Location: Shawnee, KS
Pay: $18-$20/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime as needed)

About the Role:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and hardworking Field Technician to join a growing team in Shawnee, KS. This is a hands-on role supporting field operations, working alongside supervisors, and assisting with construction and maintenance projects. This position offers growth opportunities, including potential CDL training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with job site setup, including unloading tools and preparing materials
• Operate hand and power tools such as drills, saws, jackhammers, and pressure washers
• Follow directions from field supervisors and project managers
• Direct traffic safely around job sites when required
• Support construction activities such as digging, moving materials, and site preparation
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper equipment storage
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor (bending, standing, climbing)
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces (training provided)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel overnight as needed
