Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a reputable client partner seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Lead to join their team in Tangent, OR. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, PTO, retirement options, and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance services to support production goals and minimize downtime
• Work independently with minimal supervision to complete maintenance department tasks
• Collaborate closely with multiple departments to support current and future processing operations
• Cross-train in multiple service and maintenance functions
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, fabrication, and equipment repairs
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Occasionally travel or drive for business purposes
• Maintain dependable attendance and assist with additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• One or more years of experience and/or education in production, mechanical, facilities, heavy manufacturing, or related field
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Millwright, electrical, or mechanical certification preferred
• Proficient in welding, cutting, grinding, and working at heights above 7 feet
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to become forklift certified
• Ability to train and operate HMI interfaces preferred
• Ability to read and fabricate from blueprints preferred
• Experience servicing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment preferred
• Computer experience including maintenance software, AutoCAD, Excel, and Microsoft Office programs preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and training skills preferred
