Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Temporary Mechanic to support our team during a short-term assignment from early June through late June. This role focuses on trailer maintenance and repair, with the opportunity to transition into a long-term position for top performers.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailer-related mechanical issues
• Perform maintenance and repairs on:
  • Suspension systems
  • Wheel bearings
  • Trailer wiring and electrical components
  • Hub assemblies (packing hubs, sealing, adjustments)
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work efficiently to meet daily productivity goals

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a mechanic (automotive, trailer, or heavy equipment preferred)
• Basic knowledge of trailer systems, bearings, and wiring
• Ability to use hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
