We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support sales operations for a growing building materials company. This role is responsible for assisting customers, generating quotes, processing orders, and building strong relationships with contractors, builders, and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
• Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and follow up on leads
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and existing customers
• Recommend building material products based on customer needs and project requirements
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in company systems
• Assist outside sales representatives with account management and customer support
• Monitor inventory availability and communicate product lead times
• Resolve customer issues and provide excellent service throughout the sales process

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• Previous inside sales, customer service, or building materials experience preferred
• Knowledge of construction products, lumber, roofing, drywall, or related materials is a plus
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with sales/order entry systems
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
