Job Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Overtime Offered)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. This position will focus on utility work and heavy equipment operation in a construction environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating equipment such as excavators and dozers, a strong understanding of underground utilities, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on job sites. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and work well as part of a crew while maintaining professionalism on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, and other utility equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform utility work including excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation
  • Read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and project instructions
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs
  • Assist crews with underground utility installation and related construction tasks
  • Maintain a safe and clean job site while following all safety procedures and regulations
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule
  • Represent the company professionally while on job sites and interacting with contractors or clients

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of heavy equipment operator experience required
• Experience operating excavators, dozers, and other heavy equipment
• Previous utility work experience required, including underground utilities and site work
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction environment
• Strong understanding of equipment operation, grading, trenching, and excavation
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record preferred
• Ability to work well with a crew and follow supervisor instructions
• Must maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and job site procedures
