Salary: $22 -$24

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding and possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and various fabrication techniques. This role involves working with metal components to produce high-quality welded assemblies for construction, ductwork, and other manufacturing projects. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts: Monday-Thursday ( Must be able to work both shifts)

Day shift: 5:00am-3:30pm

Afternoon shift:3:45pm-2:15am

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to blueprints and schematics
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and press brake machines to shape and prepare materials
  • Use calipers and basic math skills to ensure precise measurements and tolerances
  • Rigging and positioning materials using cranes or forklifts for welding or assembly processes
  • Assist with machining tasks as needed, including using hand tools and measuring devices
  • Conduct quality checks on welds and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety protocols and procedures

Skills

  • Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG welding experience is a plus
  • Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing, construction, or ductwork projects
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, and assembly processes
  • Familiarity with rigging techniques, crane operation, forklift handling, and schematics interpretation
  • Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, calipers, and basic math for precise fabrication work
  • Understanding of welding safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or welding processes

Physical Requirements

  • Standing for long periods
  • Repetitive use of hands and arms
  • Lifting up to 35+ lbs
  • Working in a metal fabrication environment with noise, heat, and sparks

Experience:

  • MIG welding: 2 years (required)
  • Welding: 2 years (required)
  • Blueprint reading: 2 years (required)
  • Metal fabrication: 2 years (required)
