The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within assigned facilities. This role ensures that buildings are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to provide a welcoming and healthy space.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Clean windows, walls, and fixtures as needed
  • Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, or waxing when required
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special activities
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper storage
