Industrial Maintenance Technician – PLC & Electrical Systems

Location: McAllen, TX

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Schedule: Must be flexible to work all shifts and overtime as needed

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

 

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in McAllen, TX. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment, electrical systems, PLC controls, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems to support efficient plant operations.

• Maintenance and repair of stamping presses, associated feed-line equipment
• Die-Cast, Brush, and Grind equipment
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their individual components
• Lubrication systems and how to identify failing press components
• PLC Programming knowledge, backup, diagnostic and update: Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc 90-30, Automation Direct, Siemens and HMI screens
• Experience in industrial electricity and electronic; Diagnostic and repair of control circuits for D/C and A/C from 24 to 480 VAC
• Amplifier servo; servo valves, sensors, temperature control, transducers, variator of frequency, circuit board, 3ph motors troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Previous industrial maintenance experience required
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming knowledge required
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial electrical systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment efficiently
• Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, and automation systems preferred
• Ability to work overtime and rotate between shifts as needed
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
