Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to support the firm’s day-to-day administrative and financial operations.

 

This is a part-time, in-office position, requiring 3 days per week (20–25 hours total). We are flexible with scheduling for the right candidate.

 

This role is well-suited for a professional who is organized, comfortable with accounting functions, and capable of handling confidential information in a legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable
  • Maintain financial records and perform data entry
  • Utilize QuickBooks (or comparable accounting software) for bookkeeping functions
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Support billing and invoicing processes
  • Handle bank deposits
  • Manage outgoing shipping and mail
  • Scan and electronically file proposals, contracts, and related documents
  • Coordinate general office administrative tasks and supplies
  • Maintain organized digital and physical files
  • Provide general support to attorneys and administrative staff

Qualifications

  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting packages (required)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Schedule

  • 3 days per week, totaling 20–25 hours
  • Flexible schedule within standard business hours
