This company specializes in structural welding, fabrication, custom moldings, and trimmings. They are currently seeking a highly skilled candidate with a strong controls/electrical background. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, coachable, and eager to learn from experienced leadership.

Pay: Earn $25.00-$35.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM-4:40 PM
Location: Ferndale, WA
Position Type: Evaluation Hire

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-Install, dismantle, repair, move, troubleshoot, and maintain complex industrial machinery

-Ensure integration between software, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems

-Utilize PLC logic to diagnose technical issues, perform adjustments, and complete repairs

-Fabricate and install engineered hazard controls and machine guards

-Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery consistently

-Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems

-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

-Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2-3 years of experience and/or education as a Technical Millwright

-Willingness to learn continuously and train under the guidance of team leads

-Comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering, hydraulics, and welding operations
-Proficient with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting, improving, electrical, and controls

-High level of numerical accuracy, attention to detail, taking accurate measurements using precision instruments, strong judgement, and critical thinking skills
