We are hiring a Machine Operator for a steel service/manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for operating production machinery, handling steel materials, and ensuring quality output in a fast-paced shop setting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery used in steel processing and production
• Load and unload steel materials safely and efficiently
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Read work orders and follow production instructions
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist with material handling and other warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

• Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing or steel environment preferred
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
• Forklift experience is a plus
