NOW HIRING – MACHINIST 

Express Employment is hiring for a Machinist position in Brownsville, TX.

Position Details:
• 1st & 2nd shifts available
• Starting pay: $11/hour + shift differential
• Pay depends on experience
• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Must be flexible to work weekends when needed

This position is best suited for a skilled Job Shop Machinist with experience in:
• Manual lathes
• Vertical mills
• Boring mills
• Drill presses
• Repair and fabrication work
• Custom one-off and repair machining rather than repetitive production work

Key Responsibilities:
• Layout, setup, and operation of a variety of manual machine tools
• Repairing, modifying, and rebuilding components
• Fitting, assembly, troubleshooting, and precision machining work
• Reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools
• Milling machine operation and tight-tolerance setup work

This role is ideal for candidates with experience as:
• Manual Lathe Machinist
• Conventional Machinist
• Job Shop Machinist
• Repair/Maintenance Machinist
• Millwright-style machinist

This is not primarily a CNC production operator role. The position focuses on skilled manual machining, repair craftsmanship, custom fabrication, and precision setup work.
