Client of Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a

Inside Sales & Inventory Coordinator

 

Responsible for managing the full inside sales cycle for chemical products while controlling and auditing inventory at a remote warehouse. Supports B2B clients, ensures accurate stock levels, and coordinates fulfillment with 3PL partners.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Support — Respond to product inquiries and provide technical/availability information.
• Quote Preparation — Generate accurate price quotes and lead-time estimates.
• Order Processing — Enter and manage purchase orders through fulfillment.
• Client Recordkeeping — Maintain clean and accurate CRM data.
• B2B Relationship Building — Support and grow long-term customer accounts.
• Inventory Control — Monitor, audit, and reconcile stock at a remote warehouse.
• 3PL Coordination — Work with logistics partners to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Shelf-Life Monitoring — Track expiration dates and product viability.
• Safety Compliance — Follow OSHA/HAZMAT guidelines for chemical handling and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge

• Chemical safety (OSHA/HAZMAT)
• Basic understanding of warehouse inventory processes

Experience

• 2–4 years in inside sales or account management
• Experience tracking warehouse inventory
• Chemical manufacturing or distribution background preferred

Skills

• Phone & email communication
• Interpersonal skills
• Mathematical accuracy for stock counts and conversions
• Problem-solving and organizational skills
