We are seeking a skilled Robotic Welder to join our Automotive manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality welded components. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and adherence to safety standards. The Robotic Welder plays a critical part in ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining product integrity.
Starting Pay Rate: $19/hour - $20/hour
Night Shift 11pm - 7:15am
Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate robotic welding equipment according to specifications and work orders.
- Operate weld/ assembly equipment
- Operate resistance welding equipment
- Operate tube forming/secondary operation equipment.
- Complete all necessary paperwork affiliated with production.
- Change tips as required. (if applicable)
- Maintain a high standard of quality product.
- Meet production schedules.
- Receive ongoing Cross Training on all welders and assembly equipment.
- Document production activities, including machine settings, inspection results, and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize welding procedures and improve overall efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to promote workplace safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating robotic welding systems or similar automated manufacturing equipment.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, metallurgy, and safety procedures.
- Previous work experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of weld equipment
- Knowledge of weld penetration an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent English skills both oral and written.
- Robotic welding: 2 years (required)
- Assembly: 1 year (required)
- Manufacturing facility: 2 years (required)
