Our Pickering client, an industrial supplier and wholesaler of tools and safety equipment, is looking for a Tool Repair Technician to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electric, hydraulic, and battery-powered tools
• Repair on cutters, presses, drills, saws, and other industrial equipment
• Read and interpret diagrams, manuals, and schematics
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs accordingly
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Perform testing and inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience with repairing tools and equipment
• Must be Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting abilities
• Able to read diagrams, manuals, technical drawings
• Able to work with hand and power tools
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strict adherence to safety practices and procedures
• Steel toe boots required

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing, maintenance, or repair environment
• Technical or mechanical background (asset)

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Pay Rate: $18-25 per hour (based on experience)
