Position Summary

Express Detroit is seeking a motivated and energetic Talent Sourcer to support our growing recruiting team across Metro Detroit. The primary focus of this role is building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline for light industrial, skilled trades, office services, and professional positions.

This individual will play a critical role in proactively identifying talent, engaging candidates, scheduling interviews, and supporting recruiters with daily recruiting activities. The ideal candidate is organized, able to work in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment, and comfortable working in a high-volume staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job boards, databases, social media, referrals, and community outreach
• Conduct outbound recruiting calls, texts, and email campaigns
• Screen candidates based on experience, availability, transportation, and culture fit
• Schedule interviews and coordinate onboarding steps
• Maintain accurate candidate records within recruiting systems
• Build and maintain active candidate pipelines for current and future openings
• Support recruiting events, job fairs, and hiring initiatives
• Assist recruiters and account managers with urgent staffing needs
• Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process to improve retention and communication
• Promote the Express Detroit brand professionally in the community and online

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting, sourcing, customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with candidates throughout the day
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and applicant tracking systems
• Social media recruiting experience is a plus
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
