Rate of Pay: $23.00 - $25.00

 

Overview:

Preform daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to meet operational goals of the company.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading shipments from various types of trucks (flat beds, vans, etc.).

Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including a forklift.

Ensuring accuracy of all inbound and outbound shipments.

Order picking and palletizing orders for shipments and customer pick-ups. Including using hand tools, banding tools, and saws for building/palletizing orders as needed.

Verify and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments.

Preform a physical inventory count on finished goods and operating supplies as required.

Inspect material handling equipment for defects and notify immediate supervisor if found.

Communicate with Sales Staff regarding order shipment lead times.

Communicate with Operations Staff regarding inventory levels and re-stocking needs.

Always follow safety procedures in warehouse.

Ensure warehouse is well maintained and kept organized.

Perform other duties assigned as needed.

 

Skills:

Skilled in shipping & receiving operations, freight coordination, and working with third-party logistics providers.

Prior forklift experience.

Ability to use computers, printers/scanners, and Microsoft Outlook.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work under limited supervision.

Ability to lift to 65 pounds.
