Job Overview:
Express Employment is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for a Picker/Packer position in a warehouse environment. This role involves floor-level order picking of items that are less than full case quantities. Candidates must be comfortable with physical work including standing, walking, pushing carts, and heavy lifting boxes and totes throughout the shift.
Pick orders from floor-level inventory locations using handheld scanners and tablets
Opening boxes and laying out garment to be screened.
Safely maneuver rolling carts that require heavy lifting through out the work day.
Operate manual or automatic press.
Work closely with manifest and packing teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment
Use computers and warehouse systems to assist with order processing
Physical Requirements:
Standing and walking for extended periods
Frequent use of hands to handle objects, tools, and controls
Reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
Lifting, moving, and manipulating items that require heavy lifting.
Pushing and maneuvering loaded carts
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
Pay: $17.00
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
