About the Job

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local company to fill a Janitor position focused on commercial cleaning and facility maintenance. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining clean environments, and is comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

 

This position has variable weekly hours depending on workload and customer needs. The guaranteed minimum schedule is Sunday-Tuesday from Noon-2:00PM, but hours may increase to up to 8 hours per day during busier weeks. Compensation is $24.04/hr.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning commercial buildings and facilities
• Floor cleaning including carpet, vinyl, and tile surfaces
• Construction site clean-up
• Window cleaning
• Operating cleaning equipment including pressure washers and industrial floor cleaning machines
• Maintaining safe and organized work areas
• Providing strong customer service while onsite at client locations

What You Bring:

• Previous janitorial, cleaning, or labor experience preferred
• Ability to operate or learn industrial cleaning equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and stay productive
• Comfortable with physical work including standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive movement
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
