We are currently building a pool of dependable and professional catering staff for upcoming events throughout Humboldt County. Assignments will vary based on client needs, event location, and scheduling demands. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, part-time, or supplemental work in the hospitality and event industry.

Please Note:
This is not a full-time or guaranteed-hours position. We are recruiting candidates to be available for future event opportunities as they arise. Qualified candidates will be contacted when assignments become available.

Job Duties May Include:

• Assisting with event setup and breakdown
• Serving food and beverages to guests
• Bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness during events
• Preparing buffet stations and replenishing food items
• Carrying trays, dishes, tables, chairs, and catering equipment
• Providing excellent customer service in a professional manner
• Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Working as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed
• Reliable transportation preferred, as event locations vary throughout Humboldt County
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Previous catering, restaurant, banquet, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay rates will vary depending on the event, client, and assignment location
• Flexible scheduling based on event needs
• Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
