🔧 Maintenance Technician I – Job Description

📌 Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (24–40 hours per week)
⏰ Schedule: Must be available between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM
💵 Compensation: $23 per hour

🏨 Position Overview

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician I performs general maintenance tasks, conducts routine inspections, and responds to equipment or structural concerns throughout the resort property. This entry-level role requires a proactive, adaptable individual who demonstrates strong technical aptitude, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.

The Maintenance Tech I plays a key role in ensuring the resort’s facilities remain fully operational, safe, and welcoming for both guests and team members. Active participation in company safety programs and adherence to industry-standard safety practices are essential components of this position.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

🔩 Perform general maintenance duties, including basic repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance.
🔍 Conduct routine inspections of equipment, systems, and facility structures to identify potential issues.
📥 Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
🌿 Assist with upkeep of resort grounds, common areas, and building interiors.
⚠️ Follow all safety protocols and participate in company safety initiatives.
📝 Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
💬 Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members.
🚨 Support special projects or emergency repairs as needed.

📚 Qualifications

🧰 Basic knowledge of general maintenance, tools, and repair techniques.
🔧 Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical, electrical, or structural issues.
👀 Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
🤝 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

💪 Physical ability to lift, carry, climb, and perform manual labor as required.

🌦️ Work Environment

This role involves working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The position may require standing, walking, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
