Environmental Services Aide (Part-Time, Evening Shift | Eval Hire)

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals of Everett is recruiting on behalf of a local client seeking a dependable Environmental Services Aide. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across a clinical environment, while also assisting with minor maintenance tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in creating a clean and safe space for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the facility in support of infection control standards
Follow established daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning schedules
Apply proper cleaning techniques according to product guidelines
Safely use cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for staff and visitors
Restock and requisition cleaning supplies as needed
Complete assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision
Monitor facility safety, including securing doors and checking equipment use after hours
Follow safety procedures when using chemical cleaners and powered equipment
Report maintenance issues or repair needs to management
Assist with minor facility maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated with the ability to stay productive in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of building systems (electrical, plumbing, etc.) preferred
Familiarity with janitorial tools and cleaning products
High school diploma or equivalent required
