Construction General Laborer 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $17/hour
Employment Type: Part-Time (with opportunity to grow into Full-Time)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support a variety of construction site tasks. This position will start part-time with the opportunity to transition into full-time hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall and painting, along with a general construction background and willingness to assist wherever needed on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform drywall installation, repair, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing
• Prep surfaces and apply paint (interior and exterior)
• Assist with general construction tasks including demolition, framing support, material handling, and job site cleanup
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Support skilled trades as needed on various projects
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Drywall and painting experience (required)
• General construction or labor experience (preferred)
• Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, carrying, bending, standing for extended periods)
• Basic knowledge of tools and job site safety
• Dependable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Ability to take direction and work independently or as part of a team
