Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working on a variety of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and assemble materials to construct frameworks, walls, floors, and other structures
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
• Repair and maintain existing structures as needed
• Ensure all work is level, secure, and built to specifications
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with other trades on-site to complete projects on schedule
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter in construction
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Good math and measurement skills
• Physical strength and stamina for manual labour
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship

Nice to Have

• Experience with finishing carpentry or custom woodwork
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
