Located in Chapel Hill, NC

Salary: $20-$25/hr.

Maintenance & Leasing Assistant 

 

Schedule: approximately 20 hours per week for the summer, with the potential to grow into a full-time 40-hour-per-week position for the right person.

Responsibilities: 

• Daily property showings and inspections
• Replacing blinds/screens and filters
• Changing lightbulbs and smoke detectors
• Installing towel bars and curtain rods
• Caulking tubs/showers
• Swapping basic toilet parts
• Installing portable/window AC units
• Simple troubleshooting and cleaning
• Hauling items to the dump
• Placing and removing yard signs
• Property showings
• Move-in/move-out and annual inspections
• Basic maintenance and repair tasks
• Running occasional errands related to property management
• Spanish-speaking ability is a strong plus

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a residential maintenance tech
• Valid driver's license
• 2+ years of customer service experience
