A growing local automotive company is seeking an experienced Auto Estimator / Service Advisor for a full-time Direct Hire opportunity. This position is ideal for an automotive professional with experience in collision repair, auto body estimating, service advising, or automotive repair who can confidently assist customers and coordinate repairs from start to finish.
The Auto Estimator / Service Advisor will prepare repair estimates, assess vehicle damage, communicate with insurance companies, coordinate with technicians, and keep customers informed throughout the repair process.

Auto Estimator / Service Advisor Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate automotive repair and collision estimates for customers and insurance companies.
- Inspect vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs, parts, and labor.
- Prepare and update repair estimates and documentation.
- Work with collision repair estimates and insurance supplements.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding estimates, supplements, and repair approvals.
- Coordinate with automotive technicians and body shop staff regarding repairs, parts, and timelines.
- Keep customers informed throughout the vehicle repair process.
- Explain repair recommendations, estimates, and timelines clearly and professionally.
- Assist with appointment scheduling and shop workflow management.
- Monitor repair progress and help ensure jobs stay on schedule.
- Maintain organized and accurate repair documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair experience.
Auto Estimator / Service Advisor Qualifications
- Previous automotive industry experience is required.
- Previous experience as an Auto Estimator, Collision Estimator, Body Shop Estimator, or Automotive Service Advisor is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, vehicle parts, and collision repair processes.
- Experience working with repair estimates and insurance claims is preferred.
- Familiarity with collision estimating software or automotive repair systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, technicians, insurance representatives, and vendors.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple repair orders and priorities in a fast-paced automotive environment.
- Detail-oriented with solid computer and documentation skills.
