Our client located in Elgin, IL is looking for a Quality Technician to join their 2nd SHIFT team!
In this position, you will perform detailed inspections of precision-machined parts, ensure quality standards are met, and support production through accurate documentation and communication. If you have a strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this could be a great fit for you!

Pay: $17.50/hr
Hours: Monday–Friday | 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Quality Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed inspection of precision parts using microscopes, gauges, and measurement tools.
• Identify and document non-conforming parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports.
• Communicate quality concerns with supervisors and production teams.
• Assist with containment and corrective action processes as needed.
• Support production and quality departments to maintain workflow and standards.

Quality Technician Physical Requirements:

• Adequate manual dexterity to handle small precision parts and tools.
• Corrected visual acuity for inspecting detailed components.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, twist, and stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs as needed throughout the shift.

Quality Technician Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good attendance and work history.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
