Traveling Maintenance Technician Direct Hire

Home location: Elkhart, IN

$25/hr+ Based on Experience

 

We are looking for a Traveling Maintenance Technician to help with equipment teardown, delivery, installation, and setup at customer locations across the U.S.

Job Duties:

• Pack, load, and secure sold equipment and machinery onto company trucks
• Travel to customer sites for delivery and installation
• Assist with unloading, setup, and installation of machinery
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical skills
• Perform basic maintenance and mechanical work as needed
• Help with industrial/machine painting when needed
• Work safely and professionally at customer locations

Schedule:

• Travel throughout the U.S.
• Typically home on weekends and between installs

Experience:

• Machine painting or industrial painting experience
• Equipment installation experience
• Able to lift, move, and secure equipment safely
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable traveling

Great fit for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys hands-on work, travel, and not being chained to the same shop floor every day.
