About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a cutting-edge technology organization to hire a Financial Accounting Manager who will play a critical role in building and scaling accounting operations. This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to drive financial accuracy, compliance, and process improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and leadership to support business decisions
• Drive improvements in accounting systems, processes, and controls
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors
• Assist with technical accounting research and implementation
• Develop and mentor accounting staff as the team grows

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in Big 4 or national public accounting and/or public company environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
• Industry exposure to aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar)
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
